When you use PermitEV, we collect the information needed to deliver your permit package: the project details you enter in the intake wizard, site information, and your email address for order communication. If you upload a panel photo, we process it to extract electrical details for your plan set.
When you pay, payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
When you use our free calculation tools, including the EV Load Check app in ChatGPT, we process the numbers you provide (panel size, charger amps, wire run length) only to compute your answer. We do not store calculation inputs, and we do not collect names or payment information through these tools.
Project information is used to generate your plan set, coordinate PE review where applicable, and send you order updates. We use standard analytics to understand site usage in aggregate.
We do not sell your information. We do not share project details with third parties except the licensed Georgia Professional Engineers who review Premium packages and the services required to operate (Supabase, Stripe, Resend, Google Maps), each of which processes data only as needed to provide its function.
Project records stay in your dashboard for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and project data at any time by contacting us.
Calculation tool requests are not retained. Nothing you compute through EV Load Check becomes part of a stored record.
